Lady Vikes top S.D. team fall to Wynot

WAUSA — The Lady Vikings earned a win over out-of-state opponent Gayville-Volin last Tuesday night, winning 48-38. Senior Megan Kleinschmit again led the way with a double-double, but it was a freshman that was atop the teams scoring sheet.

Clara Schindler has begun to find her role on the floor and seems to becoming increasingly more comfortable on the court. Schindler is averaging 7.4 points per game, just one point behind Megan Kleinschmit, and the freshman has scored over 10 points in each of Wausa’s two wins.

Megan Kleinschmit came back strong after missing a game against Wakefield a few days prior. The senior had 14 points and 10 boards for her third double-double of the season.
