New Year’s baby arrives
RANDOLPH - Randolph’s New Year’s baby has arrived.
Colter Lee Dorcey, son of Abby and Derrick, entered the world at 6:25 a.m., Monday, Jan. 23, at Faith Regional Health Services. He weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and was 22 inches long.
He joins three other brothers, Robby, 11, Braxton, 6, and Easton, 3.
Grandparents are Chad and Janell Frerichs, Coleridge, and Chad and Jean Dorcey, Wayne. Great-grandparents are Dale Bartling, Coleridge, and Jerry and Linda Dorcey, Wayne.
The Dorceys are no strangers to being the parents of Randolph’s New Year Baby. Their second son, Braxton, was the New Year’s Baby in 2016.
As part of this year’s designation, Colter and his family will be the recipients of many gifts donated by Randolph merchants and professional people in a promotion sponsored by the Randolph Woman’s Club.
