Winter Storm Jaxon hits hard!

Schools and businesses alike were closed Monday as Winter Storm Jaxon hit the area, blowing in late Sunday night and continuing throughout the day on Monday. The snow stopped falling late Monday afternoon, but continued to blow, with an estimated 14 inches reported.

Many schools were already announcing closures Sunday night, with businesses announcing on Monday that they were closed and urging people to stay home. Osmond and other area towns lost power for several hours Monday morning, with Osmond’s power coming back on about 12:45 p.m.
