Jeffrey P. Wallick

Osmond — Jeffrey P. Wallick, 59, Osmond, died Saturday, June 16, 2018, at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Howells, with Father Stanley T. Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Vigil/Rosary Service at 7 p.m., all at the church. Burial will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Howells. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Jeffrey was born Sept. 30, 1958, in Albion, the son of John Wallick and Pauline (Thompson) Korup. He graduated from St. John’s Military Academy in Salina, KS. Jeffrey served with the United States Air Force. He then attended the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island. Jeff worked as a police officer in Laurel, Platte County, Howells, Schuyler, Wausa and Osmond. His career was his true passion and he loved what he did. Jeff married Barbara Baumert in 1985 and to this union two children were born. Jeff is survived by his wife, Barb Wallick, Osmond; two children, Brad Wallick, Osmond, and Jackie Wallick, Omaha; and sister, Teresa Reinhart, Scottsdale, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline, and a brother, John.
