Dennis Joseph Blatchford

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Dennis Joseph Blatchford, 73, San Jose, died Sept. 26, 2022, at his home in San Jose.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Oct. 23, at Oak Hill Funeral Home, San Jose.

Dennis was born June 7, 1949, in Laurel, to Darrell “Tubby” Blatchford and Mary Ann Schulte. He married Michele Blatchford January 1970 in St. Paul, Minn.

Dennis enjoyed a four-decade career in construction management, building commercial projects that changed the Silicon Valley landscape.

He is survived by his son, John Blatchford, and his wife, Jennifer Rose, Santa Cruz, Calif.; daughter, Autumn Casadonte, and her husband, Alex Casadonte, and daughter, Ava Casadonte, San Jose, Calif.; brothers and sisters and spouses, Carol Magnussen, and husband, Roger Magnussen, York; sister, Sally Kaulins and husband, Arv, Lincoln; brother, Greg Blatchford, and wife, Lesa, Newton, Iowa; brother, Chad Blatchford, and wife, Margaret, Lincoln; brother, Joel, and wife, Lisa, Seward; and one grandchild.
