Debra S. (Gubbels) Giberson

OSMOND — Visitation for Debra S. (Gubbels) Giberson, 46, of Warrensburg, MO, took place from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Osmond. Inurnment graveside service followed the visitation at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in rural Osmond.

Deacon Doug Tunink officiated the graveside service.

Debra passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at her residence in Warrensburg, MO. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Osmond is in charge of the arrangements.

Debra (Gubbels) Giberson was born July 8, 1977, in Osmond to Jerome and JoAnn Gubbels. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School through eighth grade and graduated from Osmond High School. She graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in Omaha and earned her Registered Nurse degree. Omaha is where she met David Giberson and who became her husband on July 15, 1999. From that union two sons were born, Daniel and Darin,

who were the greatest joys of her life. Her first nursing job was in Colorado Springs. Later, the family moved to Warrensburg, where she continued her nursing career. She enjoyed nature, the outdoors and camping with her boys. She also loved many pet dogs over the years. She had an infectious laugh and was a faithful Husker fan. She was a woman of faith and practiced it in her life daily. She was passionate and loved her family and friends and cared deeply for her medical patients during her nursing career.

She is survived by her spouse; her sons Daniel (Cali) Giberson of Loveland, CO, and Darin Giberson of Warrensburg; her siblings, Gracia (Jim) Sandvold of Blair, Loretta (Andy) Frey of Tilden, Matt (Christy) Gubbels of Osmond and Cindy (Travis) Portwood of Bennington; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, many aunts and uncles and some cousins.
