Lady Bulldogs are off to a good start
COLERIDGE — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Junior High volleyball team had a busy week opening week with three games.

On Thursday, the team traveled to Hartington-Newcastle School.
The C team won 25-14, 25-12. Carlie Kvols led with seven points while Mavis Jonas and Hannah Hart had six points each.
The B team also won 25-10, 25-11. Holly Patefield led the servers with 12 points and Hannah Hart added 10 more points to lead the servers.
In the A game, LCC took the first set 25-9, then lost the second set 23-25 and won the final set 15-6. Lainey Folkers led the servers with 10 points.
On Saturday, Winside came to Coleridge for two games.
The LCC C team started the morning with a loss 16-21, then won 21-2 and 23-21. This game got really exciting in the third set as it went back and forth between the two teams. Kassidy Koch led the servers with nine points.
The B game was also exciting as both teams played great volleyball with serving and attacking. LCC won 25-14 and 25-20. Hattie McCorkindale had eight points to lead the servers followed by Carlie Kvols with seven points.
