Dance studio wraps up competition with honors

RANDOLPH - The Studio 103 Company Team wrapped up the competition season March 24-27 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with many honors.

The competition season was definitely one that dancers will remember.

“I don’t think we have ever had this successful of a season. The team set goals for themselves at the beginning of the season, and went in and completely blew all of them out of the water. Their dedication since this summer has been unbelievable to watch, and to see them overcome challenge after challenge has been so rewarding,” said Studio Owner Chelsea Kuchta.

Here is how the team did in their last competition weekend:

- Bria Reimers, second overall and TOP STARS invite to nationals

- Sophie Kuchta, second overall, eighth overall title winner, TOP STARS invite to nationals.

- Lilly Kuchta, third overall, seventh overall title winner, and TOP STARS invite to nationals.

- Nicole Haselhorst. fifth overall and TOP STARS invite to nationals.

- Olivia Rayford, ninth overall and TOP STARs invite to nationals.

- Alexandria Huwaldt, fifth overall.

- Winter Wiseley, sixth overall.

- Peyton Thelen, tenth overall and judge’s award for swag.

- Olivia Hille, diamond.

- Erika Graf, diamond.

- Grace Drahota received a diamond.

- Olivia Hille and Winter Wiseley, fourth overall.

- Lilly Kuchta and Bria Reimers, sixth overall.

- Alexandria Huwaldt and Meghann Miller, fifth overall.

- Hip-hop, first overall to “Boom;” third-overall to “Ladies;” first overall and category cup winner of all levels to “Jump.”

- Clogging, first overall and category cup winner of all levels, “Good to Be Alive”

- Jazz, second overall in “Black Magic;” fifth overall in “My Boyfriend’s Back;” ninth overall to “My Head;” elite for “Upside Down.”
