Grand Old Flag

The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge second graders presented their Patriotic Program “America” Thursday to family members and friends. (right) Ruby Jonas, Mason Kort, and Madison Ross display their flags. (below) Zander Lute and Lisa Jackson show off their state flags as they are mentioned. (bottom, right) Kloie Ferris, James Recob, and Kyler Hangman dressed in character for the event. The program began with the students entering the gym singing Fifty Nifty United States followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Other songs followed with students having reading parts in between the songs. Students also dressed up as Patriots and gave a brief description of the person they were portraying. The program finished up with the students singing God Bless America and the audience joining in on the second verse.
