Wausa girls build four-game win streak
WINSIDE — Wausa cruised to victory over Winside, 54-14, in a game on MLK Day last Monday after it was rescheduled from the week before due to a snow storm.
Wausa grabbed the lead early on the way to a 30-4 lead by halftime after holding Winside scoreless in the second quarter.
The win allowed Wausa to play a 10-girl rotation to kick off a busy week that featured four games on the schedule.
The Lady Vikings were led by Clara Schindler and Morgan Kleinschmit each scoring 17 points.
