Third-quarter surge lifts Vikes to win over EV

WAUSA — The Vikings started 2018 with a 60-51 win against Elkhorn Valley.

A second-half comeback put Wausa over the top for the team’s third win of the season.

Down 25-23 at halftime, Wausa came out hot in the third quarter, outscoring their foes 19-9. The Vikings held on in the fourth to seal the victory.
