Second half surge carries Vikings to win over Bloomfield

CREIGHTON — After a rough first half, the Wausa boys found their shot against Bloomfield in the first round of the Creighton Holiday Tournament.

The Vikings won, 61-52, after scoring 43 points in the second half.

Ghatlin Hegge led the way with 22 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Drew Munter led the way on the boards, grabbing 14 total rebounds. Munter’s seven offensive boards and seven defensive boards were complimented by five points, one assist, three steals and two blocks.
