Reptile Road Show

Will Abler points to somone asking a question during the Real Reptiles Education Program at the Lied Lincoln Township Library June 19 in Wausa. Abler runs an interactive educational program called Real Reptiles. The student from Northeast Community College, Norfolk, travels to different communities throughout the region, where he presents reptiles shows at various libraries and other venues. He also introduced the students to an alligator, a turtle and a few other reptiles. But the hit of the show always seems to be “Gordy.” Rogan Hoesing holds “Gordy” during the Real Reptiles education Program. “My brother and I love snakes,” Rogan remarked as he held “Gordy,” the Albino Burmese Python.
