Randolph girls handcuff Lady Vikings

WAUSA — The Lady Vikings struggled to find a rhythm on Friday night, earning a 48-25 loss to Randolph in front of the home crowd.

Wausa’s offensive struggles came from a tight Randolph defense that allowed the Lady Vikes to take just 29 shots all game.

Wausa made just eight of the 29 on the way to the losing effort, as the Lady Vikings scored seven points in the first, second and fourth quarters while scoring four in the third.

One category that Wausa did better than Randolph was on the boards. Big Purple grabbed 27 rebounds compared to Big Red’s 25.
