Local baseball, softball teams have busy week of diamond action

WAUSA — The weather had once again been battling with the softball and baseball games in Wausa. The baseball field had not been drying with the rain we have had and forced the June two 4 games with Verdigre to be cancelled.

The baseball teams were to travel to Winside Tuesday night, but their field wasn’t dry either, so those games had to be cancelled. also.

The Wausa softball field has been dryingnicelythis yearandthesoftball games Tuesday night for the Lady Vikings were able to happen with only a slight change in time. The little girls were going to play on the baseball field but were moved to an earlier time so they were able to play on the softball field. Winside softball traveled to Wausa to play the 7/8 and 9/10 softball teams.
