Bloomfield avenges loss, ends Vikings’ season

HARTINGTON — Bloomfield draws revenge on Wausa, as the Bees win, 35-26, in the Class D2-4 Subdistrict semifinals at Cedar Catholic, Hartington. The Vikings beat the Bees twice this year, including just four days prior in the final regular season game, but Bloomfield showed why it is hard to beat a team three times in a season.

Drew Munter had the hot hand for Wausa, but the rest of the team went 0-30 from the floor. Munter finished with a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds on the night. Tyson Kaiser went 0-13, John Rosberg went 0-8 in the senior’s last basketball game for the Vikings, and Ghatlin Hegge went 0-4.
