Wausa’s Annual Smorgasbord is ready to serve up delicious delicacies

WAUSA — Can you believe it’s already that time again? It’s time to start preparing for Wausa’s annual Smorgasbord. I can already smell the Swedish meatballs! This year, Wausa will be celebrating its 76th Annual Swedish Smorgasbord. Because last year was such a success, the smorgasbord committee is moving forward with renewed energy for another great year.

From last year’s Smorgasbord, the committee had enough surplus funds to purchase 40 new folding chairs for the auditorium. Mike Burns and Gary Bloomquist from Burns Construction helped to renovate the racks to store the new chairs.

The committee was also able to give two scholarships to graduating seniors Gracie Dawson and Drew Munter.
