Wausa residents encouraged to go to Creighton community meeting

CREIGHTON – Wausa and Creighton area residents are encouraged to attend an upcoming community meeting and lend their voices to help make Knox County the best place to live, work, play and visit.

Knox County Economic Development has scheduled the community meeting for the Wausa and Creighton areas for 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 28 at the Creighton Community Center and Inn.

Secret shoppers came and visited each community and will present what they experienced in each town. This presentation will be conducted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s First Impressions Program team and was funded by a U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Property grant.

Attendees will have access to professionals for all of their questions.

There also will be future strategy drafting for how to bring in more money to the communities based on the results and their strategy.

In addition, there will be time for open discussion as well. Again, the input and attendance of Wausa and Creighton area residents matter, organizers said.
