Wausa 2019 Homecoming

Saturday brought beautiful weather, which made for a great day for football and the Homecoming Coronation. Wausa Vikings football had their first win of the season. The royal court included, (back row, l-r) Freshman attendants, Teyah Anderson, Tug Dawson; Junior attendant, GarrettHegge; King candidates, Taylor Kumm, Dawson Thorell; Wausa’s 2019 Homecoming King, Ethan Baue; King candidate, Jonah Story; Sophomore attendant, Jonathan Nissen; MCs Skyles Kinkaid, Shelby Timmerman; (front) Crown Bearer, Lola Clausen; Junior attendant, Jaide Kaiser; Queen candidate, Ainsley Nelson; Wausa’s 2019 Homecoming Queen, Melanie Vanness; Queen candidates, Kaitlyn Kumm, Isabelle Vanness; Sophomore attendant, Leah Bloomquist; and Crown Bearer, Heston Anderson. The 2019 homecoming royalty wait for the announcement of King and Queen, followed by the Senior Royal Court having some fun at the dance Saturday night. Queen Melanie shares a moment with her dad, Chad Vanness, who was a 1996 Wausa graduate and Homecoming King his senior year.
