Wausa’s first day of school pushed back due to construction project

WAUSA — Wausa students will get a few extra days of summer vacation this year.

A small construction delay has pushed the start of school back a few days.

School was originally planned to begin Thursday, Aug. 15, but Supt. Brad Hoesing said the start date had to be pushed back to Monday, Aug. 19.
