Veterans to be honored

WAUSA —Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11, and students at Wausa Public Schools will take part in a tribute to the men and women who served or are serving in all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

The program will begin at 10 a.m. in the school gym. It is sponsored by Wausa’s Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts and auxiliaries.

Veterans from the different branches of service will be recognized. They are asked to stay following the program for a group picture.

Lunch will be served in the school cafeteria later. Please call the school office, 402-586-2255, by Friday, November 8, to reserve your meal.
