Valuation drop could affect Wausa School District

WAUSA — In a large family consumer science building Monday night, members of the Wausa School Board met for the first time in the 2019-2020 school year, tackling an agenda of bills and getting up to speed on the happenings of Wausa Public Schools.

Supt. Brad Hoesing presented a preview of the 2019-2020 budget to members, in which the board will have more discussion and input during an Aug. 28 workshop.

“I just wanted to get this in front of you guys,” Hoesing told the board. “We have a chance to look at it more, talk about it more but I wanted you to have a good understanding leading into that meeting.”
