Property tax bill can’t get past filibusterWausa FBLA brings home several awards from State Leadership Conference

OMAHA — The 2018 FBLA State Leadership Conference was held on April 5-7, 2018 in Omaha, with 22 Wausa students in attendance. On Thursday, before the conference, students participated in a business tour at the Imagine Arts Building. Students were able to see five different small businesses primarily centered around technology.

At the conference, students started out with the Opening General Session where the keynote speaker talked about making good impressions and being professional. State Officer candidates also campaigned.

Throughout the conference, students took tests and/or presented in a variety of events. There were also several seminars throughout the days where students could attend.
