Music program to honor and celebrate Grandparents

Wausa Elementary recently held a Grandparents Day program. (below, left) The fifth grade band, performed in front of an audience for the first time last Friday afternoon,(below, middle) and the Kindergarten class showed some dance moves to their grandparents as they sang about animals that live on a farm. The program consisted of students in Kindergarten - sixth grade (below, right) singing, “You are my Sunshine” as a group, to end the program and honor all grandparents. Cookies and lemonade were enjoyed afterward.
