Man caught with counterfeit cash in Cedar County

HARTINGTON — Bond for Robert Nixon, Cleveland, Ohio, who is being held in Cedar County Jail, was set at $150,000 this week.

Nixon, 42, was arrested Thursday for driving with a suspended driver’s license while traveling over 99 MPH and for first degree forgery charges when an officer found over $11,400 in counterfeit U.S. currency in the vehicle Nixon was driving.
