Legislature gives its approval to Hemp Farming Act

LINCOLN — The Nebraska Legislature advanced several bills last week.

Legislative Bill 323, which would change eligibility provisions under Nebraska’s Medicaid Insurance for Workers with Disabilities program (Medicaid buyin program), advanced April 15.

The bill, proposed by Sen. Sue Crawford of Bellevue, would update the act with the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999, which allows working disabled people to keep Medicaid coverage with premiums.
