Monday’s weather with wind chills below zero, promptedWausa school officials to hold indoor recesses for students. First graders (right) Kinzlee Thorell and Kali Suhr enjoyed playing with the Legos instead of having to bundle up to brave the cold on the playground. Kindergartners (above) Amberlin Marks, Jayce Lauck and Burkley Carlson examine the Lego pieces before deciding what to build. Temperatures aren’t expected to get much warmer for the rest of this week. The National Weather Service is predicting highs in the teens and low 20s.
