Volleyball season begins Thursday

OSMOND — The Osmond High School volleyball team will begin its regular season on Thursday, Aug. 26, at home against Wynot.

“We have a solid group of returning letter winners,” said Coach Jennifer Johnson. “All of the girls worked hard this summer in the weight room and going to camps.”

There are 21 girls out this year. Returning seniors include Grace Gansebom, Macy Aschoff, Lillie Gansebom, Kiera Moes and Bailey Schmit. Juniors on the team are Cali Gutz, Reese Johns, Leia Buchanan, Adamari Olguin, and Mary Jane Herrera.

The sophomores on the squad are Erica Heiman, Anna Kahny, Anabelle Vinson, Caydence Krienert, Tessa Gardner, Calli Hoffman, and Julianna Kumm.

The freshmen include Sophia Gansebom, Erin Wagner, Keely Gubbels, and Brianna Kumm. Our student managers are Abby Brown, Carrie Kumm, Alexa Aschoff, and Korrine Moes.
