Rushing attack carries Bears to big win

PLAINVIEW — The Bear ground game rumbled through the Plainview defense Friday to give LCC a big 58-8 win.

LCC is now 5-1 on the year and rated in all three statewide high school football polls.

The rushing attack was led by Evan Haisch who turned in one of the best performances of his high school football career.

Haisch pounded the rock for 300 yards on just 18 carries — an average of 16.7 yards per carry.

As a team, the Bears churned out 428 rushing yards in the contest.

The Bears took control with a 46-0 halftime lead, then cruised to the win in the final two quarters. Plenty of reserves were able to see action in the contest.
