Play ball!

Baseball and softball practice began June 1 and, after months of being cooped up, Osmond kids are ready to get out and be active. Although the teams will have to adhere to many new rules — no concessions, each athlete using their own equipment, only household members allowed at games — the kids seem to be having fun getting ready for the season. In top two photos, the eight-year-old boys listen to Coach Montana Miller, then race across the field to a light pole and back, while at right, Jaxson Kloster makes a hit in his turn at bat. The teams will be practicing through June 17, with games set to start June 18.
