Osmond runners ready for season

OSMOND — The Osmond Tigers have been training for the upcoming season preparing for the opener at Hartington this Thursday, Aug. 26. The Tiger boys return three letter winners from their district runner-up team last season. Juniors Karter Johnson, Robert Aschoff and senior Kaden Polt will be joined by junior Gavin Geneski who finished in 14th place at state cross country in Class C for Pierce.

Senior Riley Wagner is a returning letter winner for the girls’ team. Riley just missed qualifying for state last fall by five spots and is anxious for this season to start. She will be joined by freshmen Keli Aschoff and Sydney Peck.

Additional boys’ team members are seniors Bodie True and Hunter Beacom, junior Hudson Schultze, and sophomores Caleb Miller, Dominic True, James Doyle and Matthew Alderson.
