Osmond falls to Wausa 38-40
OSMOND — The Osmond Tigers and Wausa Vikings met up for district play
on a beautiful night for football, Friday, Oct. 1. Wausa was able to capitalize
on a couple of Tiger turnovers to take the lead and escape with a victory.
Osmond's offense had 243 total yards on 55 plays with an 80% efficiency
rating on fourth downs. Patrick Vinson threw the ball 14 times for 172 yards
and four touchdowns, rushing for two touchdowns. Alex Vinson and Ryan
Schmit hauled in two touchdown grabs apiece. Defensively, the Tigers only
allowed 51 rushing yards but gave up five touchdowns.
The Tigers look to bounce back this Friday night, Oct. 8, at Wynot with
a 3:30 p.m. kick-off.
