National Honor Society Inducts New Members

WAUSA —The 2021 Wausa National Honor Society induction took place on March 29. There are 10 new members joining the Chapter. The requirements to be inducted into NHS are based off of four areas: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. In order to be considered, a student must have attended high school for 3 semesters and have a 90% or above cumulative grade point average. The next step includes preparing an activity resume as well as answer an essay question on why they think they should be a member of National Honor Society. Then all staff who have contact with the students evaluate them on their leadership, character, and service with four points being the most they could receive in each of these categories. Students need to receive a 70% or higher based off total possible points.

Congratulations to the following students who are now members of Wausa’s NHS: Jarrett Andersen, Emily Kleinschmit, Teyah Anderson, Jaxon Claussen, Alexa Cunningham, Joe Johnson, Alexis Munter, Addison Smith, Kilee Thorell, and Josh Wattier. These new members will be joining the current members: Jaide Kaiser, Morgan Kleinschmit, Brooke Kumm, Cory Schumacher, Tyler Baue, Leah Bloomquist, Brandon Kristensen, Ali Lundberg, Trey McQuay, Abrielle, Nelson, Darla Nelson, Jonathan Nissen, Cole Story, Michael Vanness, Madisyn West, and Emily Woockman.
