Moes signs to play basketball at Concordia

OSMOND – On Thursday, Dec. 9, Osmond High School basketball player Kiera Moes signed to play basketball at Concordia College in Seward. Kiera was joined in the OHS gym by her parents, Mark and Amy Moes, and siblings Korrine and Cole, as well as her OHS coaches, teammates and friends.

Drew Olson, coach at Concordia College in Seward who was also present, said, “I’m really excited about having Kiera join our Bulldog family. She is a great teammate who plays hard and will fit our style of play and culture.”

Osmond basketball Coach David Schmit commented, “I’m very proud of Kiera for earning an opportunity to continue her basketball career with a high-quality program! With the support of her family and teammates over the years, she’s become a great leader and basketball player. Concordia and Coach Olson are getting a great athlete and an even better person! I look forward to following her college career!”

Kiera will attend Concordia next fall and will major in education, a fouryear degree.
