Local team is champion at youth tournament

LOCAL TEAM IS CHAMPION AT YOUTH TOURNAMENT — The Osmond-Wausa youth basketball team won the championship at the 2022 Plainview Ballbackers tournament this past Saturday, March 5. The boys began the tournament by defeating Summerland by a score of 24 to 18. They then beat Stanton 28-8 and Battle Creek 29-11 to play in the championship game. Once again, they faced Summerland, and once again, they defeated them, this time by a score of 20-16. The team had a record of 18-5 for the season.
