LCC volleyball players earn post-season honors

LAUREL — Four LCC volleyball players have picked up postseason honors for their prowess on the court this season.

Jordynn Urwiler, Kinsey Hall, Mallory Eriksen and Tali Erwin were selected to the 2021 Lewis & Clark First Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention teams.

Eriksen led the Lady Bears at the net this season, slamming down 195 kills on the year. She also collected 19 blocks on the season and was one of six LCC athletes with 100 or more digs on the year.

Hall completed a highly successful career in 2021. She led the team in digs with 333 on the season. She was also one of only five LCC athletes to come up with over 100 kills on the year.

Hall was the quarterback of the Bear offense, setting up the offense with 582 set assists during the 2021 campaign. She was also deadly at the service line, firing 83 ace serves over the net.

Urwiler was a key to the Bear defense, as she worked to get 308 digs on the year.

Erwin was named to the elite team as a freshman. She collected 103 digs on the season and made good on 145 kill attempts. She also fired 25 ace serves across the net.
