LCC students celebrate Red Ribbon Week

LAUREL — Celebrating Red Ribbon Week was held recently at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Elementary School.

The week features theme dress-up days for students to celebrate being drug free.

Monday’s theme was Pajama Day, wear your pj’s to “put drugs to sleep”; Tuesday was Hawaiian Day, dress in tropical gear to “lei off drugs”; Wednesday was Tie Dye Day, wear tie dye to say “Peace out to drugs”; Thursday was Disney Day, dress like your favorite Disney character to “let drugs go,” and Friday was Red from head to toe, wear Red to show your dedication to being drug free.
