LCC Jr. High volleyball teams end season on a high note

COLERIDGE — All three local teams played in the LCC Tournament as Randolph only had one team that played in the B Division.

The A team won the tournament in the A Division.

Ponca Oct. 13 at Coleridge

The LCC girls finished the season playing Ponca.

The C team won 22-20, 21- 17. Emily Rasmussen had six points followed by Kate Tasler with five points. It was good to see the team finish with a win as the LCC girls played several close games this season. In B team action,

Ponca defeated LCC 21-7, 21-18. Emma Sohler had eight points.

The A team won the game 21-14, 21-19. The second set was a close one as LCC was behind 19-12 when Rachel Rasmussen served nine straight points to end the game with a victory.

She had 14 points total followed by Lainey Schutte with five points.

Congratulations to the A team for finishing the season undefeated including three tournament wins.
