LCC golfers earn a runner-up finish at Stanton Invitational

STANTON — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls golf team finished with the runnerup hardware at the Sept. 4 Stanton Invitational.

Individual medalists for the local team were: Jadyn Kinkaid, 3rd; Sidney Groene, 5th; Sarah Karnes, 6th; and Delaney Hall, 13th.

West Point-Beemer won the team championship, finishing five strokes ahead of LCC with a 429 on the day.

Three LCC freshman also played in their first 18 hole tournament. They were: Beka Lipp, Abby Tasler, and Faith Urwiler.
