Lady Bears pick up two more L&C wins

LAUREL — The LCC Lady Bears improved to 8-5 last week.

The Orange and Black defeated Tri County Northeast on Tuesday, then defeated Plainview on Thursday.

Against Tri County, Mallory Eriksen paced the Lady Bears at the net with four kills, while Kinsey Hall led the team in ace serves, digs and set assists.

On Thursday the Lady Bears  swept Plainview, dominating the first two sets, before having to battle through the third set for the 26-24 win. No stats were available for that game.

The victories propelled the Bears to a three-game win streak.

LCC will next be in action Thursday when the Lady Bears host a triangular against Lewis and Clark Conference foes Wynot and Wakefield.
