Lady Bears drop road test in season debut

The 2020-21 season got off to a rough start for the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls basketball team, as they dropped a 69-28 decision Friday at Crofton.

The Lady Bears shot a respectable 39 percent from the floor, but had trouble getting the offense going as they committed 29 turnovers in the contest.

Kinsey Hall led the way for the LCC girls with a team-high 15 points. Mallory Eriksen added six, Erica Wolfgram had four, Haley Christensen scored two and Reggan Kuhlman added a free throw.

Hall led the team in rebounds with nine while Eriksen and Mollie Schutte both had two. Hall, Wolfgram and Delaney Hall each had two steals.

LCC was at Homer on Tuesday and will face Tri County Northeast on Friday and Randolph on Saturday in home matchups.
