Gansebom signs to play at Midland

OSMOND — Osmond Lady Tiger volleyball player Grace Gansebom signed to play volleyball at Midland University on Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the Osmond High School (OHS) gym.

Grace was accompanied by her parents, Pat and Robbie Gansebom. Osmond Lady Tiger head volleyball coach Jennifer Wiseley, assistant coaches Justin Orr and Abby Simpson and athletic director Brian Guenther were present with Grace during the signing. Because of COVID-19, the Midland coach was not able to attend.

Coach Wiseley commented, “Playing college ball has been a dream of hers for years! She has spent countless hours in the gym practicing, at camps, and playing club ball to get to where she wanted to be. She has the highest volleyball IQ of almost anyone I have coached and she has a deep love of the game. I am excited and proud for her to follow her dream of being a college athlete.”

Grace reached the 1,000 assist mark this year and ended the year with 313 assists for the season with a career total of 1,247.

Grace will begin attending Midland University next fall.
