Cross Country finishes first place at O’Neill

BLOOMFIELD — On Friday Sept. 18th, the Bloomfield/Wausa cross squads competed at the is p O’Neill Invite meet along with 12 other schools. The squads competed very well with the girls winning the meet and the boys placing 3rd, only 6 points from the runner-up position. Many personal C best times were recorded under wonderful weather conditions.

Top medalist for the girls was Christina Martinson in 6th place (20:21), followed by Darla Nelson 8th (21:06), Carry Martinson 11th (21:44), and Ella McFarland 15th (22:22). Madie Ziegler ran an excellent race to finish just outside of the medals in 16th place (22:26).

Team scores were: 1.) Bloomfield/Wausa 28, 2.) Ainsworth 35, 3.) Crofton 41, 4.) O’Neill 67, 5.) West Holt 68, 6.) Summerland 86 and 7.) Saint Edward 126. The Commercial State Bank

For the boys, Addison Smith medaled in 6th leased to announce that Katie Smith place (17:23). Others were Cade Wakeley 18th (18:55), Hudson Barger 19th (19:01), Tyler Hanson has joined the Wausa team as a 23rd (19:27) and Cory Schumacher 36th (20:27).

Teamwise it was 1.) Pierce 23, 2.) O’Neill 59, Customer Service Representative. 3.) Bloomfield/Wausa 65, 4.) Ainsworth 72, 5.) West Holt 75, 6.) Elkhorn Valley Katie 87, (Marks) 7.) Crofton Smith is 114, 8.) Summerland 136, 9.) a graduate Chambers of Wausa Wheeler Hig Central 150, 10.) Saint Edward School 176. as well as South Tiernee Freeman placed 16th in the junior high

Tiernee Freeman placed 16th in the junior high east Community College girls race followed by Ava McFarland in 38th. Luke Woockman medaled in in Lincoln, 6th place Nebraska. in the Sh junior high boys race along and with her Jacob husband, Smith Richard in 8th and Tomik Duffy in 15th moved place. back Alex to Ramboni Wausa approximately finished in 24th place to give the boys a one 4th year place ago team finish in the meet with 8 complete teams. along with the children,
