Crofton ends Lady Bears’ season

CROFTON — The Laurel-ConcordColeridge Lady Bears picked up a win in subdistricts before bowing out to end the season with a 10-14 record.

On Monday, the Lady Bears used a 16-5 third-quarter run to take control of the game and end Creighton’s season with a 46-41 triumph.

Kinsey Hall had a big night in the scoring department, hitting on 13-of-15 shots from the free throw line to finish with a game-high 28 points.

Haley Christensen followed with eight points, Erica Wolfgram added five, Mollie Schutte and Reggan Kuhlman each had two and Jordynn Urwiler put in a free throw.

The following night, LCC couldn’t hang with subdistrict top-seed Crofton, who ended the Lady Bears’ season with a 71-41 decision.

Hall led the way with 18 points while Wolfgram added seven and Christensen put in five. Also scoring were Eriksen with four, Urwiler with three and Schutte and Kuhlman with two apiece.

Hall led the team in rebounds with seven while Eriksen had five and Urwiler and Berniece McCorkindale each had three.
