Blaze duo earns gold medals at Winside meet

WINSIDE — On Saturday, the Blaze competed in the Winside Invitational and finished fifth in the 14-team tournament.

Tie Hollandsworth and Kolby Casey claimed first-place honors at 152 and 220 pounds, respectively. Sutton Ehlers (160), Trace Naeve (170) and Fischer Carson (220) all earned third-place honors.

The Quad County Northeast wrestlers came away with a 53-16 dual win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic in action last Tuesday.

Nolan Ohlrich (145), Colby Wathor (182), Kolby Casey (220) and Dominic Wilcox (126) all earned wins by pin, while Tie Hollandsworth picked up a technical fall at 152 pounds.
