LINCOLN — Laurel-Concord-Bears earned the 11th seed and will travel to sixth-seeded Thayer Central in the first round of next week's Class D1 High School Football Playoffs.

The Bears compiled a 5-3 regular season, while Thayer Central put together a 6-2 mark on the season. Thayer Central is located in Hebron, about an hour south of York on Highway 81.

The Wynot Blue Devils earned the third seed in the East for the Class D2 playoffs.

The Devils will now host Winside in a rematch of their Oct. 16 game. The Blue Devils earned a 46-20 decision in that contest to close out their regular season with a 5-1 record. The Blue Devils' only blemish on their pandemic-shortened season was a 56-14 opening-season setback at the hands of Humphrey St. Francis.

Osmond also made the playoffs. The Tigers earned the eighth seed in the D2 East Division and will now host ninth-seeded Creighton on Thursday.
