Bear golfers host LCC Invite

LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge boys golf team hosted the LCC Invitational on Tuesday at Cedar View Country Club.

LCC had just two golfers compete among the 64 golfers who saw action at the tournament. Aidan Junck shot a 118 for the team’s low round, while Jackson Hall came in with a 133.

Wayne edged Hartington Cedar Catholic 341-343 to win the team title as 11 full teams were among the 14 schools competing.

LCC Invitational Team Standings

Wayne 341, Hartington CC 343, Pierce 352, Tri County NE 381, Ponca 386, Hartington-Newcastle 411, Crofton 439, Madison 443, Randolph 443, Wakfield 469, Homer 514. Tekamah-Herman, Winnebago, Elkhorn Valley and LCC did not field full teams.
