Wausa students celebrate Homecoming festivities set

WAUSA —  It’s time to celebrate Purple Pride in Wausa.

Wausa Public School is celebrating Homecoming this week.

The week is filled with special activities to give the students a chance at some fun this semester.

Following is a breakdown of the dress up themes and events each day.

MONDAY: Dress-Up Theme = Class Color Day

TUESDAY: Dress-up Theme = Beach Day

WEDNESDAY: Dress-Up Theme = Western Day

• FBLA Fall Leadership Conference

THURSDAY: Dress-Up Theme = America Day

• XC at West Holt 3 p.m.

• HSVB vs. Niobrara/Verdigre 4:30 p.m.

FRIDAY: Dress-Up Theme = Purple and Gold

• School dismissed at 1:09 p.m.

• VFB vs. Osmond 2 p.m.

• Coronation immediately after the football game at the football field. 

• Homecoming Dance at the school from 8 p.m. - 11 p.m. No outside dates will be allowed.

Crown Bearers:

Adalyn Kumm, daughter of Tony Kumm and Megan Lanphear.

Riggs Anderson, son of Mike and Stephanie Anderson.

 

Freshman Attendants:

Hunter West, daughter of Rod and Pepper West.

Cashe Carlson, son of Chris and Nichole Carlson.

 

Sophomore Attendants:

Alexis Munter, daughter of Doug and Lori Munter.

Jaxon Claussen, son of Kenny Claussen and Tanya Claussen.

 

Junior Attendants:

Ali Lundberg, daughter of Lance and Tina Lundberg.

Brandon Kristensen, son of Bruce and Jessica Kristensen.

 

Masters of Ceremonies:

Clara Schindler, daughter of Tim and Jennifer Schindler.

Steel Claussen, son of Loren Claussen and Janeice Sudbeck.

 

King and Queen Candidates:

Queen Candidate, Brooke Kumm, daughter of Mike and Lanell Kumm.

King Candidate, Cory Schumacher, son of Bill and Diane Schumacher. 

 

Queen Candidate, Charlie Price, daughter of Todd Price and Mandy Spangler.

King Candidate, Carson Barney, son of Josh Barney and the late Carrie Barney.

 

Queen Candidate, Kaitlyn Walton, daughter of Aaron and Lindsey Walton.

King Candidate, Chance Maben, son of Shannon Maben and Shelley Scalissi.
