Wausa FBLA celebrates FBLA Week

WAUSA — The Wausa FBLA chapter celebrated FBLA week from February 12-19. Activities ranged from helping support the American Heart Association, to searching the school for hidden FBLA logos, to showcasing their best professional attire. The final activity included an obstacle course where students had 8 challenges to master, including piecing together the FBLA logo and tying a tie.

On Friday, February 12, the FBLA chapter raised money and awareness for the American Heart Association at the basketball game. People were able to buy t-shirts, participate in face painting, or buy a ticket for a chance to compete in the “Race For A Heart” game. Special halftime entertainment was also provided by the “Heartthrobs”, where they danced to a medley of love songs. Members of the Heartthrobs include Tyler Baue, Abrielle Nelson, Ali Lundberg, Kate Lundberg, Joe Johnson, Trey McQuay, Cole Story, and Carson Barney. Thank you to Jaide Kaiser, Charlie Price, Reghan Bloomquist, Clara Schindler, and Tyler Baue for putting together an awesome fundraiser and show!

Wednesday, February 17, was National AdvisorAppreciation Day. The Wausa FBLA chapter is blessed to have such a great chapter advisor! Mrs. Friedrich has been an amazing teacher, mentor, and advisor for many years now, and we are so thankful for her!
