Wausa’s 2020 third graders share their feelings and ideas

The following are from the third grade students at Wausa Elementary School, who wrote: “I am thankful for...”

 

Books, football, health and my family. My family is nice, funny, and loves me. I am thankful for books because they are fun to read. I am thankful for football because it is a rough sport. I like that you get to shove and knock people down. This is what I’m thankful for this year.

The world, you my family, and friends to. The world is full of new things. God is always by our side. Because he loves us. Thats why he’s always by our side. There is only one God. That’s what is important.

My dogs, my friends, food and water, and health. Your friends or dogs can support you. If you don’t have food or water you might get sick. If you don’t have friends or a dog you might be lonely. These are the things I am thankful for all the time.

My family, food and water, and my pet. I am thankful for my family because we play with each other. I am thankful for my cat, Charle because she is playful and lazy. That’s what I ‘m thankful for.

My family and pets. The reason I’m thankful for family is that they give me shelter and love. The reason I’m thankful for pets is that they snuggle up and lay on your face. This is what I am thankful for.

My family, my dog and cats, my friends, and my teachers. I am thankful for my family because they help me when I need it and we spend time together. I am thankful for my dog Axle and my cats because I can play with them when I am sad. I am thankful for my friends because they are very sweet to me. I am thankful for my teachers because they help me if I need help on a quotation. That is what I am thankful for.

My dog because I was scared of dogs before I got him. His name is Harve I got him 6 months ago. I like him because he is very playful. Harve is so soft and Harve runs faster than me. Everybody thinks he is cute. That is what I’m thankful for.

My family, dog and ponies, also teachers. I’m thankful for my family because they take care of me and help me. And I’m thankful for my dog because she is soft and cuddly and she helps me feel better. I am also thankful for my ponies because they are soft too and also cuddly. My teachers because they help me with math, spelling and science. That’s what I am thankful for.

My family, and my teacher and food and water is good for my health. Why I’m thankful for my family is because I love them and they love me. I am also thankful for my teacher because she is nice and she helps me learn new things and I’m also thankful for food and water because you would be thirsty and hungry.

My family, school and health. I am thankful for my family because I love them so much. I am thankful for school because I can get a good education, this is helpful because I want to be a doctor. I am thankful for health because I don’t want to get sick and die. I love thanksgiving.

My family, friends, and my house. I am thankful for my family because they have fun with me. I am also thankful for my friends because they have fun with me. The last thing I am thankful for is my house because it keeps me warm and safe. Those are the things I am thankful for.

My family and all kinds of sports. I’m thankful for my family because they are nice, kind and loving. They can be mean to me sometimes or my other siblings but I still love them. I’m thankful for sports because they are fun to play with other people but the game can be unfair sometimes but it’s still fun. That’s what I’m thankful for.

Food, water, health. I am thankful for food because food has nutrition in it. I am thankful for water because it is good for you to drink. I am thankful for health because we need to stay healthy.
